Questions & Answers

Here are a list of questions you may have in mind about story submission on COABH. If the question you have is not listed below, feel free to e-mail your question to cracksofabrokenheart@gmail.com, and I will answer your question through an e-mail and this page.

Is an e-mail required to sumbit a story?

Yes, an e-mail is required to sumbit a story. However, the e-mail you provide will not be published, posted, sold, or used on COABH. Your e-mail is just a way for me to contact and e-mail you, in the case that something is wrong with the story you have submitted. For example, if the story is inapproriate, contains profanity, or includes names.

What if I want to submit a story, but I don't want to provide my own e-mail address?

If you do not want to provide your own e-mail address when submitting a story, that is fine! When submitting a story through the SUBMIT box, just simply replace your personal e-mail with the e-mail that is already provided (cracksofabrokenheart@gmail.com). Keep in mind however, that in the event that there may be something wrong with your story, I will have no way of contacting or reaching you.

What should the story I submit be about?

The story you submit should reflect on a current/past breakup or heartbreak experience you are going through or have gone through. You may include how you dealt and overcame the heartbreak, or you also may submit a story about how you helped a loved one in the process of recovery from a heartbreak.

What kind of information should I not include in my story?

For privacy purposes, please do not include any names in your story, or in the case that you do, create a nickname for the individual(s). Because this is a project based website, please refrain from using profanity and anything inappropriate. Don't share anything you woulndn't want to be featured.

Does it have to be story?

No, what you submit does not need to be story. If you have a song or poem that you have written and are willing to share, feel free to sumbit it.
